A New place to call home
A photography studio.
This has been a dream of mine ever since I started my journey as a professional headshot photographer in 2016.
After nearly a decade of shooting mostly outdoors, facing all kinds of challenges (including but not limited to cat callers, photobombers, annoying tourists, and security guards), I have FINALLY found a space that perfectly fits my photography needs.
Well, almost perfectly.
It checks off most of the boxes - close to home, has plenty of natural light, and is AFFORDABLE!
The catch is that it isn’t technically my own. It is a shared space located in an artist co-working building owned by 3 female badass artists/entrepreneurs. I opted to sign up for a membership they created, which gives me daily access to the photography studio, co-working lounges, along with other community perks. Although I only have a set number of hours (booking credits) per month, I haven’t come close to maxing out my hours so far.
The best part about this place is that it gets a ton of natural light and ocean breeze. Oh yeah. It’s literally blocks away from the beach.
Can someone say A PHOTOGRAPHER’S PARADISE!
